I know what you're thinking. It sounds divine! But it can also save your life if you are suffering from an infection caused by a bacteria called Clostridium difficile, or C. difficile, for short.
So it's the bacteria not the poop that has healing properties?
wow. this is amazing. how interesting that the balanced bacteria from someone's gut is better for another person's out-of-balance gut than a bunch of probiotics. it makes sense. but i don't know how comfortable i'd be having someone else's poop pumped through a tube through my NOSE into my guts!! ;)
Well let's be clear that it's the BACTERIA that you want.
The poop is just a delivery vehicle but there's gotta be other better ways.
yes and yes. :)
And there are certainly more appealing ways to SAY this!
"Microflora transplants can save your life!" <----- it's all about word choice
Microflora and the Lifesavers would be a good name for a band.

haha! adam, you definitely found the most appealing way to say it: microflora transplants! perfect.
and i love Microflora and the Lifesavers as a rock band name!
Me too! Perhaps our hero should be named "Microflora" instead of a particular time of microbe.
