Advice From a Former Olympic Hopeful: Set the Bar Low

Even a formerly elite athlete cannot find the time to maintain her six-pack abs and rock-hard quads. But by setting the bar low -- short but intense workouts 2x/week -- she got rid of the "jiggle" and feels great.

Intense workouts twice a week sounds reasonable for maintenance but doesn't sound like a good idea for someone who is just beginning.
