What do you need to do to live a long life? - Barking up the wrong tree
This really made me stop and think:
What yes/no question can likely predict whether you will be alive and happy at age 80?
That's profound.
Connecting with and helping others is more important than obsessing over a rigorous exercise program.
Yes, this is all true... I'm surprised about the part about drinking:) I think the 4AM person is really key. I also think it's important to connect with different people for different things... for example, I have certain "nutrition" friends, certain "fitness" friends, certain "business" friends, certain "education" friends, and certain "meaning of life" friends... it's key to have those individual and overlapping circles w whom you can discuss subjects for hours and never have to self-censor.
Here's a little checklist. So don't be afraid of a little change.
Here's the best method for changing your habits.
"The groups you associate with often determine the type of person you become. For people who want improved health, association with other healthy people is usually the strongest and most direct path of change."
An excellent continuation of yesterday's convo to be sure. And spot on!
I'm noticing this as an ongoing theme on PandaWhale, Dawn. :)
